Valley View Education Foundation Mission
Our mission is to lead the community in funding initiatives that inspire all students and graduates of Valley View ISD to successfully reach their academic and life-long potential. View the opportunities to give.
The Valley View Education Foundation is recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the law. Please consult your tax advisor with questions about deduction benefits.
Foundation Purpose
Our purpose is to recognize and reward students who have shown the ability, discipline and desire and initiative to succeed academically and professionally beyond high school.
The Valley View Education Foundation was established in the spring of 2022 to begin to
- build a fund through community donations and involvement;
- provide scholarships and grants to Valley View graduates;
- help advance their careers; and
- empower the community to promote success for citizens and the city of Valley View.
What is unique about the VV Foundation is that its mission of giving will go beyond high school seniors. The Foundation will look to help not only recent graduates but also any Valley View graduate who is looking to fulfill an educational goal including but not limited to:
- Going back to college to obtain a degree
- Seeking to achieve a master’s or doctorate degree
- Advancing entrepreneurial goals and more.
Charitable Giving
The Foundation goal is to build an endowment fund with a sustainable corpus for longevity giving.
Year 1: Raise $50,000
Year 2: Increase Fund to $125,000
Year 3: Increase Fund to $250,000
